We take 60-90 minutes to set up in your home and 45-60 minutes to tear down at the end of the day. We allot 6-7 hours for actual filming. You can determine how long you want each person interviewed and we can film as many people as you desire within the 6-7 hour window. If necessary, you can schedule another day of filming for $2000.

We focus on the stories shared from your own experiences and do not do ancestry research on your family. If you choose OPTION 2, we will do some searches for photos or videos to help support your stories.

We can go almost anywhere. Travel costs will be added if it is over 1 hour outside of the Atlanta area. That means $1000 per travel day plus mileage, hotel, food, and flight (if more than 1 day's drive from Atlanta). We follow the IRS rates for daily per diem.

We completely understand that concern. We provide a contract that includes an NDA portion that we sign so that what you share is kept private. You will have the opportunity to have anything removed before the final edit.

John, usually Whitney, and possibly one more camera operator. We want to keep the number of those "on set" small so that everyone feels comfortable. Being on camera can be difficult for some people so we want to approach the interviews as a casual visit. We just have cameras rolling while we talk.

To film the interviews we use Sony Professional 4k Full-Frame cameras. 

We will send you an invoice with a link for payment using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, or a bank account. You can also pay with cash or a personal check. A $500 deposit is required to get started. On the day of filming, 50% of the total cost minus the deposit will be due, and the remaining balance will be due upon approval of the final edits.
